![]() “You took Monama to our spot,” Denki said just above a whisper. All he needed to do was ask, and Denki would drop everything. But when Hitoshi flashed that sly smile and told him to come with him, it was almost impossible to say no. But he didn’t want to get in trouble! What would they say if they knew they were sneaking out of the dorms? And his grades were already on the lower side.surely he’d be kicked out. The excitement of sneaking away, hand in hand. He craved the feeling of something new in his life. ![]() With a voice like that, it was hard to say no, and he wasn’t even using his quirk.ĭenki was hesitant to sneak out of the dorms at first. Luring him closer and closer to the edge.ĭenki felt obligated to do anything Hitoshi asked. It was as if his voice was laced in a drug only he could be hooked on. It was why he fell for him in the first place. He would hold him close and tell him things Denki could never get tired of hearing. Hitoshi was a special one, Denki thought as he flopped back onto his bed. Things he’d only seen in movies, things he didn’t think boys like Hitoshi actually enjoyed. They did things Denki had only dreamt about for years. Then, he would kiss him on the cheek, and send him back to his room. Hitoshi took Denki away to their own little paradise for one night. He smiled, took his hand, and they would sneak out to god knows where. Denki would creek open his door to find Hitoshi in all of his messy bed-headed glory waiting for him. Sneaking out of the dorms got easier every time. They started off with smiles and late-night kisses. Silly little Denki! Always making things up. It was completely plausible! Really! It was probably just him being stupid again. Hitoshi wouldn’t lie to him! He wouldn’t… And Denki already had a problem with his memory because of his quirk anyway. How could he? Not when Hitoshi himself told him it was all in his pretty little head. It started 4 months into their relationship.

It's not a side story that ignores the previous films to go in its own direction. " 'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones' is no spin-off. While this film doesn't make the same mistake as 'Paranormal Activity 4' last year, treading water without really adding anything to the larger story being told, it does end up in a familiar place, and there's only a finite number of times they can do that without finally paying off what they've done such a careful job setting up." - Drew McWeeny HitFix The real question now is how the next film, supposedly due later this year, brings together the various story threads that have been laid out. The first might be the single most sophisticated effects gag we've seen in any of the films so far, and the second does something sort of crazy that folds the entire series in on itself. "The film fills in a few new details about The Midwives, the coven that has been manipulating the events in all of these films, and there are two scenes that introduce a big new concept to the series. (Particularly the scene-stealing Jorge Diaz, who all but walks away with the movie.)" - Alonso Duralde, The Wrap "Writer-director Christopher Landon delivers a few good scares, and not always where you expect them, but where he really excels in the cast and their performances their exchanges feel spontaneous and unforced, vital for a found-footage movie, and Landon (with the help of casting director Carla Hool) has assembled a charismatic and empathetic group of actors. They dig deeper, and it turns out that some of them have been unknowingly involved in a sinister plot involving black magic mysticism and possession for years." - Mark Olsen, LA Times 'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones' picks up with new characters - teenagers played by Andrew Jacobs, Jorge Diaz and Gabrielle Walsh - who stumble onto an unsettling mystery when a reclusive woman in their apartment complex dies. The change is sharp, giving the new film some much-needed freshness. "The new film shifts from the suburban anxieties of the white middle class to a group of Latino teenagers in an apartment complex. ![]() If you're considering taking a trip to the paranormal side of the multiplex this weekend, sneak a peek at what the critics are saying about "Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" first. ![]() The Latino-centric spin-off steps away from the characters we've followed through the first four installments, but that doesn't mean you won't see some familiar (demonic) faces. So is it "Paranormal Activity 5" or "Paranormal Activity 4.5"? Whatever it is, " Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" is being heralded as a return to form for the found- footage series. ![]() Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Yet because burial at sea was predicated on class, the families of victims in third class were less likely to be presented with such a body.” Even if they did, explains Bier, “an identifiable body had to be recovered before the family of the deceased could receive a life insurance payout. Wealthier passengers “would almost certainly have life insurance policies that would pay for their burial or cremation.” Working and middle classes were much less likely to have life insurance. The relatively new idea of life insurance assigned monetary value to (certain) bodies. Approximately one-third of the recovered bodies, some 114 of them, were returned to the very waters from which they’d been pulled. Bier contrasts the preservation and return of well-off victims with the rapid decomposition and burial at sea of the less well-off. Class distinction also, it seems, extended beyond death. “From the allegations that some steerage passengers were locked below decks, to the overwhelming better chances of survival for first-class passengers, such distinctions were assumed to be a natural part of society,” writes Bier. ![]() The Titanic’s microcosm of class distinctions is now infamous. ![]() See More Your browser does not support the audio element. So even with the occasional letdown, there's a lot to be said for Rise Against pulling everything off with as much substance and strength as they do the whole way through. Essentially, The Sufferer & the Witness showcases Rise Against maturing within the realms of major-label hardcore revivalism, while still remaining relevant and exciting. The excellent "Prayer of the Refugee" jarringly alternates between plaintive guitars and weary singing to an empowered chorus and exploding rhythm section to affectingly address the plight of displaced families of war the frustrated disconnect distressing a troubled relationship is represented surprisingly well in "The Approaching Curve," with its driving use of spoken word and complementary female backing vocals. The Sufferer & The Witness, their fourth album, continues to build upon the solid punk foundation - it is a striking collection, with Rise Against using. This record is basically one shout-along, mosh-worthy song after another, though the guys do throw in some interesting moments outside of continual rushes of pure adrenaline. "Injection" and "Ready to Fall" bring things back into invigorating Rise Against territory early on, while "Bricks" stands out as a vicious blast of old-school hardcore energy and power. This later happens again in songs like "Under the Knife" and the ferocious-yet-still-slightly-missing "Worth Dying For," but moments like these are, in truth, more the exception than the rule. ![]() ![]() However, "Chamber the Cartridge" doesn't quite open the record with the same acidic bite as past lead tracks, as the chorus is lacking something in its delivery to really hit a nerve. I understand what a witness is but I wasn't sure what the artwork is, it doesn't explicitly show a sufferer and a witness, but I've always interpreted as I am the witness and the person on the left of the artwork is the sufferer, I guess it's kinda down to one's interpretation of it. As such, Rise Against continue to muscularly confront political and personal grievances to the tune of swirling guitars, assertive rhythms, and Tim McIlrath's sandpapered vocals. With producers Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore manning the controls this time around, the band's inner grit is aptly drawn out amid all the pit-ready choruses and fist-in-the-air, stirring lyrics. After all, the band's sincerity and passion emerge very much intact - their socially conscious approach no less pressing - and new and old fans alike should take to Sufferer with open arms. Chicagos Rise Against began in 1999 when ex-88 Fingers Louie bassist Joe Principe tapped area vocalist Tim McIlrath for a new project rooted in the sound. Their melodic hardcore may still sound more mainstream accessible, but this can hardly be looked at as a bad thing. The Sufferer & the Witness finds Rise Against continuing on the path begun on 2004's well-received Siren Song of the Counter Culture. The Sufferer & The Witness, their 4th album, continues to build upon the solid punk foundation - it is a striking collection, with Rise Against using elements from spoken word, expanded balladry, and simply plodding forward with a faster, harder, louder ethic. Based on the reviewed work, deep learning demonstrates plausible benefits for fault diagnosis and prognostics. Various architectures and related theories are discussed to clarify its potential. This article presents a systematic review of artificial intelligence based system health management with an emphasis on recent trends of deep learning within the field. It is an evolving research area with diverse application domains and hence its use for system health management applications must been researched if it can be used to increase overall system resilience or potential cost benefits for maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities. Deep learning has gained increasing attention due to its potential advantages with data classification and feature extraction problems. However, this integration inevitably faces several difficulties and challenges for the community indicating the need for novel approaches to address this vexing issue. Once trained, the logic for data processing can be embedded on on-board controllers whilst enabling real-time health assessment and analysis. By utilising condition data and on-site feedback, data models can be trained using machine learning and statistical concepts. ![]() This is because it can be used to detect anomalies, analyse failures and predict the future state based on up-to-date information. Given the advancements in modern technological capabilities, having an integrated health management and diagnostic strategy becomes an important part of a system's operational life-cycle. This new approach may offer innovative insights for systems science and engineering in future intelligent infrastructure management. Our proposed framework may shed light on traffic management for megacities and urban agglomerations around the world. Aiming to be “reliable, invulnerable, resilient, potential, and active”, our proposed traffic health management framework includes modeling, evaluation, diagnosis, and improvement. In this article, we review existing studies on traffic reliability management and propose a health management framework covering the entire traffic congestion lifetime, from emergence, evolution to dissipation, based on the study of core failure modes with percolation theory. Nevertheless, most existing studies neglected the core failure mechanism (i.e., spatio-temporal propagation of traffic congestion). Previous studies proposed numerous approaches to evaluate or improve traffic reliability or efficiency. System health management, which aims to ensure the safe and efficient operation of systems by reducing uncertain risks and cascading failures during their lifetime, is proposed for complex transportation systems and other critical infrastructures, especially under the background of the New Infrastructure Projects launched in China. The most common definition of a fuzzy rule base R is the disjunctive interpretation initially proposed by Mamdani and found in most Fuzzy Controller applications (Mamdani and Assilian, 1975). This reasoning mechanism, with its interpolation properties, gives FL a robustness with respect to variations in the system's parameters, disturbances, etc., which is one of FL's main characteristics. These constraints are propagated by fuzzy inference operations, based on the generalized modus-ponens. The meaning of a linguistic variable may be interpreted as an elastic constraint on its value. These variables take fuzzy values that are characterized by a label (a sentence generated from the syntax) and a meaning (a membership function determined by a local semantic procedure). ![]() In particular, FL allows us to use linguistic variables to model dynamic systems. Fuzzy Logic Systems Fuzzy logic (FL) gives us a language, with syntax and local semantics, within which we can translate qualitative knowledge about the problem to be solved (Zadeh 1978 Ruspini et al., 1998). Then the number of people attending open houses dropped from 20 to two, and now some homes are sitting on the market for over a month and selling for under asking price. “In the early spring, every home was selling over its asking price with multiple bids.
